Very Uncommon Signed Photograph of Spyros P. Skouras
SKOURAS, Spyros P. (1893-1971) Greek-born U.S. Film Entrepreneur. He merged Fox with 20th Century Pictures and served as President from 1942 to 1962. He signed the young model Norma baker to 20th century Fox after changing her name to Marilyn Monroe. She rose to fame as the most famous Hollywood sex symbol of the 20th century. Oversized photograph, 10”x13”, B&W, head & shoulders pose, smiling. Inscribed and signed: “My best to Charles Anderson and the Alpine Theatre, Spyros P.
