LONDOS, J.C. (1897-1975) Greek American professional wrestler. Known as The Golden Greek. One of the most popular stars in professional wrestling from the 1920’s to the 1940’s. First immigrant to be an athletic superstar in the United States. He was the highest drawing star in wrestling. He once defeated Bronco Nagurski. Inducted into the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame (2002). On a vintage album page is affixed a portrait of Londos. He has started to sign his name on the page and the last three letters of his name runs into his portrait.
