KROC, Ray A. (1902-1984). American businessman who took over McDonald’s in 1954 and built it into the most successful fast food operation in the world. He also purchased the San Diego Padres baseball team in 1974. Scarce McDonald’s business card of Ray A. Kroc, signed with a black ball point pen, "Ray A. Kroc ."
This card in color measures appx. 3.5"x2"and features the iconic McDonald’s golden arches logo on the left, and to the right bears Kroc’s name and title. "Ray A. Kroc, Senior Chairman of the Board, Founder" along with his address for the McDonald’s corporation. ‘‘McDonald’s Plaza, Oak Brook, Illinois 60521." Listed below is their telephone number. This card is signed with a uncommon full signature "Ray A. Kroc." Affixed to a fabulous color portrait of Ray Kroc, smiling above a vintage McDonald’s shop with the Golden Arches advertising their 15 cent hamburgers, "Sold over 1 Million." Handsomely matted and framed to an overall size of 12"x15." One of Kroc’s signed cards sold in Feb. 2024 at auction for $5,294.00 including the buyer’s premium.
