KEYES, Frances Parkinson (1885-1970). American author who wrote popular romantic novels, chiefly about New England and Louisiana. Best remembered for her Dinner At Antoine’s (1948). T.L.S. on her name imprinted stationery, Newbury, VT. Nov. 20, 1962 to Mrs. Argus Leidy. In part: “I am very sorry that your letter has gone so long unanswered....it reached me while I was in Rome working very hard on an assignment...” Signed in full along with the original envelope, including a photograph of an ornate antique chair............................$67.50
