DICKINSON, Anna E. (1842-1932) Leading abolitionist and later radical Republican who is known for her speech attacking Lincoln’s insufficiently harsh treatment of the South. American reformer and lecturer. Interesting A.L.S., one page, Columbus, Ohio March 21, 1871 on her “D” embossed stationery. “I am by far too busy to write letters that do not have to be written....but I have time...and to sign myself...Anna E.
