ROSE, Pete (1941-2025) American professional baseball player and manager. Nicknamed “Charlie Hustle.” MLB’s all-time leader in hits (4256). He won 3 World Series. Last player to hit in 40 or more consecutive games. In 2025, he became eligible for the H.O.F. Rare, 8”x10” B&W photograph of Pete Rose and Fred Lynn. Pete is giving a reporter “the finger.” There are different beliefs about this photograph. One is that Fred was asked about his wife and Pete responded with “the finger.” Another belief is that Pete was asked about what he thought about the Baseball Hall of Fame. Very boldly signed across Pete’s hand and finger. This signed photo is quite rare as the few that have appeared in the market were reproduction signatures/photographs.
