d. 1940, showing completed busts of Washington, Jefferson, and
Lincoln, with Roosevelt yet to be added. Stamped "Rushmore
Memorial Verne's Photo #0104" on the lower right corner.
Boldly signed in dark fountain pen: "Sincerely Gutzon
Borglum 1940".
Accompanied with a card signed by Norman "Hap" Anderson,
Mr. Borglum's primary engineer on Mount Rushmore, 1935-1941.
