Scarce Self-Portrait
BLAKE, Bud (1918-2005) American cartoonist who created the popular comic strip character “Tiger.” On his personal letterhead the cartoonist has written a short autograph letter signed. “Dear Mr. Wiggins, No photos, but I look like the above, but older and uglier. Bud.” Above the note Blake has drawn of a self-portrait. Signed in full “Bud Blake.” In addition, the cartoonist has drawn a sketch of his main character “Tiger” sitting atop of Blakes head. Four wonderful items on one sheet of paper. In fine condition.........$167.50
